ASA-CF Black (acrylonitrile styrene acrylate with carbon-fiber reinforcement)

No more functional parts that lose rigidity and dimensional accuracy too quickly outdoors.

Standard filaments are often sufficient for simple applications. As soon as parts are used outdoors or exposed to heat, UV radiation and weather over a longer period of time, however, many materials reach their limits. Parts become imprecise, lose rigidity or fail to deliver consistently reliable results in use.

ProLine ASA-CF was developed for exactly these requirements. The ASA-based filament with carbon-fiber reinforcement combines good rigidity, high dimensional stability and weather resistance. This makes it especially suitable for technical parts where shape stability and outdoor use play an important role.

Printed parts reach a continuous use temperature of 85 °C and an HDT of 88 °C. At the same time, moisture absorption is below 0.5%. The material offers a tensile strength of 39–42 MPa, a flexural strength of 80–82.5 MPa and an impact strength of 10.5–12 kJ/m², making it well suited for durable, dimensionally stable functional parts in technical environments.

Typical applications include brackets, housings, covers, fixtures and other technical functional parts used indoors or outdoors. Especially where UV resistance, weather resistance and stable part geometry are required, ASA-CF is a sensible material choice.

Key benefits at a glance

More confidence in material, application and print results.

ProLine is not made for decorative prints, but for parts that need to perform in real applications. That is why we combine technical materials with clear documentation and direct support.

Reliable in real applications

Our materials are not only sold, but also used by JESA itself for functional parts, fixtures and technical applications.

Clearly documented

Technical data sheets, print notes and slicer profiles help you not only buy the material, but also process it in a controlled way.

Direct contact instead of guesswork

Not sure which material suits your part? Use the material advisor or ask us directly. The wrong material costs more than a quick question.

Frequently asked questions about our products

Quick answers: Here you will find information about our ProLine filaments, 3D printer upgrades and technical accessories.

1. Who are the products in the JESA shop intended for?

For anyone who wants to produce functional parts with 3D printing: brackets, fixtures, housings, spare parts, prototypes or technical upgrades for their own printer. The focus is not on decoration, but on parts that need to perform in real use.

2. What makes your products different from typical 3D printing accessories?

JESA sells products that come from our own practical experience. Our filaments, upgrades and accessories are designed to help you get more out of 3D printing — technically, reliably and transparently. It is not about as many gimmicks as possible, but about useful solutions for better print results.

3. Are the products only suitable for industrial users?

No. Although the products come from a technical and industrial environment, they are also suitable for ambitious private users. What matters is not whether you print privately or commercially, but whether you want to achieve strong, clean and functional results.

4. Does my 3D printer need to meet certain requirements?

That depends on the specific product. For technical filaments, the most important factors are nozzle temperature, bed temperature, build chamber, print surface and, for fiber-reinforced materials, a hardened nozzle. You can find the specific requirements directly on the respective product page.

5. Are technical data, print notes or profiles available?

Yes, where useful, we provide technical data, processing notes and in some cases slicer profiles. This is especially important for technical materials, because even the best material is of little use if temperature, drying, nozzle or print bed are not suitable.
