Reliable in real applications
Our materials are not only sold, but also used by JESA itself for functional parts, fixtures and technical applications.
PPA-CF Black (polyphthalamide with 10% carbon-fiber reinforcement)
No more functional parts that fail under heat and load.
Standard filaments are often sufficient for simple prototypes. In demanding applications, however, they quickly reach their limits: parts lose their shape under heat and load, become imprecise or fail to deliver consistently reliable results.
ProLine PPA-CF was developed for exactly these applications. The polyphthalamide-based filament with 10% carbon-fiber reinforcement combines high thermal performance with very low moisture absorption, high rigidity and strong dimensional stability.
Printed parts reach a continuous use temperature of 120 °C and an HDT of 220 °C. At the same time, moisture absorption is below 0.1%. The material offers a tensile strength of 108–112 MPa, a flexural strength of 210–221 MPa and is designed for long-term loads with good creep resistance.
This makes ProLine PPA-CF a strong choice for mechanical engineering, fixtures, brackets, technical functional parts and load-bearing prototypes that need to perform under real-world conditions.
✅ Continuous use temperature of 120 °C
✅ HDT of 220 °C
✅ Very high rigidity and strength for load-bearing functional parts
✅ Very low moisture absorption (< 0.1%) for consistent print results
✅ High dimensional stability under thermal and mechanical load
✅ Good creep resistance under long-term load
✅ Diameter tolerance of ±0.02 mm for consistent material flow
✅ Batch number on each spool for better traceability
Ideal for:
Mechanical engineering, fixture construction, brackets in warm environments, technical functional parts and demanding prototypes.
Post-annealing is expressly recommended to unlock the full potential of PPA-CF.

Quick answers: Here you will find information about our ProLine filaments, 3D printer upgrades and technical accessories.
For anyone who wants to produce functional parts with 3D printing: brackets, fixtures, housings, spare parts, prototypes or technical upgrades for their own printer. The focus is not on decoration, but on parts that need to perform in real use.
JESA sells products that come from our own practical experience. Our filaments, upgrades and accessories are designed to help you get more out of 3D printing — technically, reliably and transparently. It is not about as many gimmicks as possible, but about useful solutions for better print results.
No. Although the products come from a technical and industrial environment, they are also suitable for ambitious private users. What matters is not whether you print privately or commercially, but whether you want to achieve strong, clean and functional results.
That depends on the specific product. For technical filaments, the most important factors are nozzle temperature, bed temperature, build chamber, print surface and, for fiber-reinforced materials, a hardened nozzle. You can find the specific requirements directly on the respective product page.
Yes, where useful, we provide technical data, processing notes and in some cases slicer profiles. This is especially important for technical materials, because even the best material is of little use if temperature, drying, nozzle or print bed are not suitable.
